Join us in raising awareness and taking action to end violence against women and girls.
Orange Day, proclaimed by the UNiTE campaign, is celebrated every 25th of the month. It calls on activists, governments, organizations, and people everywhere to take a stand, wear orange, and speak out to end violence. This isn’t just an annual event on 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women), but a continuous effort throughout the year.
You can be part of this movement in India by joining us in raising awareness and taking action. Whether you're an activist, organization, or individual, your involvement matters. Here’s how you can participate:
Every 25th of the month, wear orange to show your support.
Join Strivajin Foundation’s local events, rallies, or workshops focused on preventing violence against women.
Use the hashtag #OrangeDay and #OrangeTheWorld to spread awareness.
Access the Orange the World Toolkit and become an online advocate for change.
Globally, 1 in 3 women experience physical or sexual violence in their lifetime. The Orange the World campaign seeks to change this by raising awareness, advocating for policy changes, and creating safe spaces where women and girls are free from violence. Whether at home, in public spaces, schools, or workplaces, ending violence is crucial for building a future of peace and equality.
At the Strivajin Foundation, we are committed to spreading the Orange Day message across India. We work closely with communities, schools, workplaces, and public spaces to educate and take action against gender-based violence.
Become a digital activist today! Download the Orange the World/UNiTE Toolkit and start spreading awareness. This toolkit contains resources to help you advocate online and inspire others to take action in your community.
We welcome partnerships with schools, universities, organizations, and companies to expand the reach of the Orange the World campaign. Help us organize larger events, raise awareness, and advocate for policy changes to create a world free from violence.
